Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the OneInvoice app ("the app") does with information. The app is provided by Eric Z ("we", "us"). Contact: candy66861@gmail.com.
In short
- There is no account. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your documents, clients, items, logo, stamp and signatures are stored on your device and in your own iCloud. We cannot see them.
- We collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to fix bugs and improve the app. They never contain document content, and you can turn them off.
- No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and we never sell data.
1. Data that stays on your device and in your iCloud
Everything you enter in the app (your business details, clients, items, prices, documents, payments, logo, stamp images, signatures and PDF copies) is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the app, it is synced through Apple's CloudKit private database in your iCloud account, which only you can access. Backup files and CSV files are created only when you export them, and go wherever you choose to save or send them. We do not operate any server that stores this data.
2. Data we collect
a) Anonymous usage statistics (can be turned off)
The app sends events such as "document exported", "payment recorded" or "purchase screen shown", with properties like document type, region, share channel, page count or an amount range (for example "100–1,000 USD equivalent"). Each event includes a random installation ID created by the app, app version, iOS version, device model, language and time zone. Events never include client names, item names, exact amounts, document numbers, tax IDs or any text you type.
Purpose: to understand which features are used and to improve the app. Storage: our database on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1). Retention: individual events 90 days, daily totals 400 days. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy and legal.
b) Crash reports (can be turned off)
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google): the stack trace, app and iOS version, device model, free memory and disk space, and a Crashlytics installation ID. Purpose: fixing bugs. Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days.
c) Diagnostic logs (only when needed)
The app keeps a short technical log on your device (for example sync or PDF rendering errors; no document content). The log is uploaded only when we create a request for a specific diagnostic ID, usually after you contact us with a problem. Uploaded logs are deleted after 30 days.
d) Feedback you send
If you send feedback from the app, we receive your message, any contact details you choose to add, the app and iOS version, device model, language and your diagnostic ID. We use it only to answer you and fix problems, and keep it for 12 months.
e) Settings download
The app downloads default settings (such as tax rate tables and notices) with the app version, region and language as parameters.
f) Network data
Like any internet service, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver requests. We do not store IP addresses in our database.
3. Data we do not collect
No account data, no location, no advertising identifier, no access to your contacts (when you import a client, iOS shows a picker and only the contact you choose is copied into the app, on your device), no photos other than those you choose, and no payment card details.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID, name or payment details. The app checks your purchase on the device. The usage statistics record the product, price and currency of a successful purchase, without any identity.
5. Permissions
- Camera – only to photograph your stamp or logo.
- Photos (add only) – only when you choose to save a document as an image.
- Notifications – local reminders for due dates, created on your device.
6. Service providers
Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and database for statistics, logs and feedback), Google LLC (Firebase Crashlytics), Apple Inc. (iCloud, App Store). These providers may process data in the United States and other countries under their own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your choices and rights
- Turn off usage statistics and crash reports in Settings → Privacy and legal.
- Delete your documents by deleting them in the app; to remove the iCloud copy, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → OneInvoice.
- The data we hold is linked only to a random ID. Send us your diagnostic ID (Settings → Help and feedback) to request access to or deletion of that data.
- If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or another region with data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Our legal basis for statistics and crash reports is our legitimate interest in a working, improving app; for feedback, it is answering your request.
8. Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
